Hidek 1896® develops various lifestyle products such as tableware, fashion, and furniture based on TRANSWOOD® and COMPOSITE TEXTILE, environmentally friendly composite materials he designed himself.

LEXUS collection School Bags was released in collaboration with LEXUS. Sold at LEXUS dealers in limited quantities.

Announced a limited collaboration model with Leica. Composite Textile_Carbon is applied to the camera body.

Launched bag collection
Succeeded in developing a softer material "Composite Textile" and launched a bag collection.
2020
Formed Circular Economy CONSORTIUM
Formed a consortium of industry, academia, and government aiming to build a recycling-oriented society, presided over by hide k 1896. Mitsui Chemicals, Shinshu University, Nagano Prefecture, Nagano City, Ichihara City, and Higashikawa Town are currently participating (as of January 2013).

ANNOUNCED A COMPACT EV CAR DEVELOPED BASED ON THE CONCEPT OF ENVIRONMENTAL HARMONY. PRODUCT DESIGN IS BY KOTA NEZU.
