All faculties of Shinshu University participate in the Circular Economy Consortium [Green Composite Hills by hide k 1896].

As a member of "Green Composite Hills by hide k 1896," an industry-academia-government circular economy consortium organized by the environmentally conscious brand [hide k 1896], we have been collaborating with the Faculty of Textile Science and Technology, Shinshu University since September 2020. In order to further develop the project, we concluded a comprehensive collaboration agreement with all faculties on March 16, 2023.
In the future, we will work on the construction of a circular economy, mainly through upcycling demonstration experiments at junior high schools in Nagano City, as well as through collaboration in education, including a special education program across all faculties.
