Prasus®, manufactured by Prime Polymer, a member of the Mitsui Chemicals Group, is a brand of biomass resin that reduces GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions by approximately 60% compared to petroleum-based resins, is manufactured in Japan, and can be stably supplied. Traceability is ensured by ISCC PLUS certification.

Apply "Prasus®" to "TRANSWOOD®", an environmentally conscious composite wood brand operated by the hide kasuga group. B to C to B" marketing utilizing "TRANSWOOD®", and sales of tableware (hide k 1896 Letoie Collection) made of "TRANSWOOD® with Prasus®" will start in 2023. The product will be used in major department stores and luxury hotels such as Hotel Okura Tokyo. In addition, building materials made of TRANSWOOD® with Prasus® have been selected as flooring materials for the Expo National Day Hall at the Japan International Exposition in 2025 (Expo '70 Osaka-Kansai) with the support of Mitsui Chemicals, Inc.
