From Wednesday, June 8, 2022, to Tuesday, June 21, 2022, the "Mineko Orisaku Exhibition" will be held at Art Edition on the 6th floor of the Main Building at Isetan Shinjuku. The exhibition is presented by "gallery de kasuga," a gallery that promotes "Reiwa Modernism," a new lifestyle based on Japanese materials.The exhibition will feature and sell artworks primarily from "Kouun," a collection by Minako Orisaku, a photographer who is currently a professor and head of the Department of Photography at Osaka University of Arts.
Mr. Orisaku’s artworks are prints created using advanced techniques to transfer photographs—which capture the fleeting beauty born from the moment when the rhythm of the heart and the rhythm of nature overlap—onto delicate sheets of pure platinum or pure gold leaf.
